Tamara Kuss

Kootenay Health Centre is excited to welcome Tamara to our team starting November 2, 2026.

Dr. Tamara Kuss is a licensed Acupuncturist and Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She was drawn to this work by a genuine desire to help people heal in a natural, whole-person way, and she brings that same care to every patient she sees.

Tamara views health as a balance of body, mind, and spirit. Drawing on the time-tested principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture, she works to restore that balance and support the body's natural capacity to heal. Rather than focusing on symptoms alone, she takes the time to understand what lies beneath them, so each treatment plan is tailored to the individual and aimed at lasting results.

She believes every person's path to wellness is unique. Patients can expect a compassionate, collaborative approach in which they are listened to, well informed, and supported in taking an active role in their own health.
